We are proud to announce that Cedar River Clinics has been recognized as a “Leader in LGBT Healthcare Equality” by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation, the educational arm of the country’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) civil rights organization.

Connie Cantrell, Executive Director, states, “Our LGBTQ Wellness Services just celebrated its one year anniversary this summer, so we are proud to be considered a leader by the Human Rights Campaign. We are committed to our LGBTQ communities in Renton, Seattle and Tacoma and thank you for trusting us with your health care and well-being.”

We were one of a select group of 426 healthcare facilities nationwide to be named Leaders in LGBT Healthcare Equality. Facilities awarded this title meet key criteria, including patient and employee non-discrimination policies that specifically mention sexual orientation and gender identity, and LGBT health education for staff members .
