Depending upon what type of care you seek, it may be covered by private medical insurance, Take Charge, DSHS Medical Assistance (if you live in WA), Alaska or Montana Medicaid OR you can pay with cash, credit card, debit card or money order. Abortion Fees:
Most private medical insurance plans cover abortion. You do not need a referral. Insurance coverage for abortion can usually be verified within 24 hours.
If you are uninsured and pregnant in Washington, you are likely to qualify for DSHS Medical Assistance which may pay up to 100% of your care. Alaska or Montana Medicaid are accepted at Cedar River Clinics. Call our appointment line at 800-572-4223 if you have questions about AK or MT coverage for abortion care.
If you do not have insurance or DSHS Medical, you are eligible for our sliding fee scale based on your income. The fee is all-inclusive, covering your procedure, anesthesia, in-clinic ultrasound and lab work, and followup appointment. See the chart below. Student and military discounts are available with ID.

Fees for Birth Control & Well Woman Care
Take Charge is a state sponsored program that makes FREE BIRTH CONTROL available to teens and adults who have no insurance. You may apply for Take Charge at Cedar River Clinics. Call the Family Planning Hotline at 800-770-4334 if you have questions. Parental involvement is not required for teens.
Some private insurance covers well woman care and birth control. To find out if your insurance can be used at Cedar River Clinics, call us at 800-572-4223.
