Aftercare - After an abortion in Renton (Seattle), Tacoma, or Yakima, it might be a good idea to talk about it with someone you trust. Silence hurts both you and them. Think about how lonely you might have been and now you have a chance to be there for someone else. You also want to take good care of yourself.

The right to abortion could be taken away. Other important health issues are at stake. We must keep it legal for women to have a baby when they want, and not when they don’t.

Women know when it is, or is not, the right time to bring a child into the world. Women have the wisdom to know our own strengths and limits. We know what we can handle.* We know when abortion is the right thing given our personal circumbstances.

Women who had abortions are women of every generation, occupation, income level, race and religion. We include great grandmothers, grandmothers, mothers, daughters, aunts, cousins, sisters, best friends, teachers, ministers, doctors, and daycare workers.* Read our stories.

You can help other women by speaking out, and by registering to vote.
