Tell your story.
Share your knowledge. Help another woman feel less alone. End the silence that causes shame. When women hide their experiences, other women suffer. Pick one or two friends and tell them what you know. Speak out.

Post your story or read others.
These websites contain hundreds of women's personal stories. Read theirs to gain strenth and understanding. Post your own story to help others at Feminist Women’s Health Center website or “I’m Not Sorry.”

Find spiritual support.
Most major religions and churches are pro-choice. Contact the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice at 202.628.7700 or Catholics for a Free Choice at 202.986.6093.

Know someone who needs an abortion?
Call the Abortion Hotline at 800.772.9100 for help with money or finding a clinic. Explore all the options at www.pregnancyoptions.info.

Register to Vote.
In Washington State, call the Secretary of State’s office at 800.448.4881. Get a voter registration form online, or at any library, school or fire station, or at the clinic.

Learn about your Representative or Senator. Ask candidates where they stand.
Contact Project Vote Smart at 800.868.3762 to find out where elected officials stand on a wide range of issues.

Contact your state legislator in Olympia.
When the legislature is in session, call the Legislative Hotline at 800.562.6000 to send a message to the Governor or to any state legislator. If you know your zip code, they can figure out who represents you.
